Notes:
[1]Elected.
[2]Georgia held two special elections on January 4, 1819. They were held to fill the vacancies left by Representative John Forsyth, who was elected to the U. S. Senate and resigned his seat as representative. Forsyth had been elected to the 15th Congress, which sat until March 1819. He had also been reelected to the 16th Congress in the fall of 1818. One election was to choose his replacement for the 15th Congress, while the other was to choose his replacement for the 16th Congress. Robert Raymond Reid would be elected in both.
