Notes:
[1]Elected.
[2]Both candidates were Republicans, but from election articles published in The Scioto Gazette it was suggested that James Pritchard was the candidate of the Ohio Quids and that in a few counties, notably Columbiana and Jefferson, he was also supported by the Federalists.
[3]Several newspapers list Jeremiah Morrow with 523 votes.
[4]Geauga County made no return within the period prescribed by law and so was not included.
[5]Includes Champaign County.
[6]Several newspapers list Jeremiah Morrow with 69 votes and James Pritchard with 104 votes, but A History of the Early Settlement of Highland County, Ohio notes "the official returns of this election on file in the Clerk's office of this county, show that Jeremiah Morrow receieved one hundred and sixteen votes for Congress and James Prichard one hundred and twenty-two."
[7]The Liberty Hall (Cincinatti) lists James Pritchard with 104 votes.
[8]The votes from Elizabeth Township were declared illegal and thrown out.
[9]Scioto County instead of making a return to Adams, as directed by law, made it improperly to the Secretary of State and so was not included.
[10]Trumbull County made no return within the period prescribed by law and so was not included.
