Notes:

[1]Elected.
[2]The Reporter (Washington, PA) appears to list five candidates for coroner, including Peter Wylie and the illegible candidate. The newspaper, however, is damaged and the township totals for Buffalo, Finley, Hill's and Somerset, as well as all of the county vote totals for the candidates are obscured and illegible.
[3]The Original Election Returns and The Examiner list Richard Dagg with 1390 totals. The Examiner also includes individual township totals which add up to 1383 total votes.
[4]The Examiner lists Thomas MacComb with 625 totals votes but the township totals listed add up to 425.
[5]From the obscured totals in The Reporter, it appears that Peter Wylie may have received 4 votes.
