Notes:

[1]The Schenectady County returns from the American (Country edition) of May 2, 1821 were originally published in the Daily American on April 28, 1821 and are most likely wrong. The election ended on April 26 and it would have been very difficult for the votes to have been accurately counted, certified and sent to New York City for publication by April 28, 1821. They were probably done in haste, without being officially certified. Even the returns from neighboring Queens County were not completely counted by April 28 and they published only the partial results.
