ASA ALDIS, the governor and council met the house in joint committee, on Wednesday last, for the purpose of electing a supreme court of the state for the year ensuing.--the ballots having been taken, sorted, and counted, it appeared the following gentlemen were elected:--Hon. RICHARD SKINNER, Chief Judge. Hon. JAMES FISKE, and Hon. WM. A. PALMER, Side Judges. The ballots for 2d side Judge were as follows." Vermont Republican (Windsor, VT). November 11, 1816.
