[1]Elected.
[2]"His Excellency Isaac Tichenor, Esq. is elected Governor." Journals of the General Assembly of the State of Vermont, 1805. p.6
[3]There seems to have been considerable confusion over the total results. Of the officially recorded votes, there were 8683 for Isaac Tichenor, 5054 for Jonathan Robinson, and 524 scattering. In addition, the The Green Mountain Patriot (Peacham, VT) and The Post-Boy, and Vermont and New-Hampshire Federal Courier (Windsor, VT) reported 485 rejected votes for Tichenor, 204 rejected votes for Robinson and 35 rejected scattering votes. Yet, town totals for individual rejected towns add up to at least 546 rejected votes for Tichenor, 270 rejected votes for Robinson, and 14 rejected scattering votes. This gives Tichenor 9209 total votes and Robinson 5258 votes, and, with individual votes for scattering candidates listed from various towns, 327 unaccounted for scattering votes.
[4]The Rutland Herald (Rutland, VT), November 2; the Middlebury Mercury (Middlebury, VT), October 30; and The Green Mountain Patriot (Peacham, VT), October 15, report 725 votes for Isaac Tichenor and 465 for Jonathan Robinson in Addison County.

[33]The votes from Eden were rejected. The Journals of the General Assembly of the State of Vermont, 1805, 7 notes that this was because "in the certificates, the freemans meeting is certified to be holden on the fourth day of September." There are not records of the votes cast in Eden.

[41]The votes from Stockbridge were rejected, because "votes for Treasurer, in the certificate were certified for Governor," according to the Journals of the General Assembly of the State of Vermont, 1805.
