[14]"REPUBLICANISM REVIVING. Notwithstanding the enemies of our Government have again assassin like come forward this election with a host of Addresses, Serious-considerations, affidavits, and such like fabricated stuff, by which they expected to deceive the electors; notwithstanding all the calumny and abuse their malice could invent--Republicanism has encreased more than any one year. The different Towns in the County have returned larger majorities than at any former election. At sundry places in Sussex, the people became so exasperated at the low, mean, and dirty method made use of by the Feds. that they collected the afforesaid Addresses andc. and publicly committed them to the flames; and would have burned in EFFIGY the contemptable authors had they been known.
