[13]The total number of Assemblymen in 1792 was 70. Of that number 65 voted in this election.
[14]The Senate Journal does not give the actual votes in that chamber, but indicates only one slate was placed in nomination, that being the one containing the first twelve names. The senators then stated their concurrence with the Assembly nomination. By resolution those men were declared to be chosen as Presidential Electors.
