Harrington, 1 for Noah Chittenden, 1 for Gamaliel Painter, and 1 for Ira Bull.
[5]The official vote totals as listed in several sources, including the The Rutland Herald (Rutland, VT), January 29, and the The Green Mountain Patriot (Peacham, VT), February 2, were 1289 total votes for Udney Hay, 841 for Martin Chittenden, and 545 for Amos Marsh.
[6]Grand Isle County was formed from parts of Franklin and Chittenden Counties in 1802, but it was not officially incorporated until 1806. In this election, records from towns in the new Grand Isle County (South Hero and Middle Hero), were still counted in Chittenden County.
