[5]"The statement in yesterday's paper being in some instances incorrect, we republish it as corrected from the returns in the clerk's office." The Albany Gazette (Albany, NY). May 10, 1819. Unfortunately, several of the revised totals were also incorrect. The paper listed 1424 for Stephen Willes, 901 for Abraham Ten Eyck, Jr., 892 for David Sager, and 884 for William Campbell. The Albany Argus (Albany, NY) lists these same totals. Addition of the town votes, however, results in the totals listed here.
[6]The New-York Evening Post (New York, NY) lists 130 votes for Stephen Willes, 6 for Jesse Wood, and no votes for Thomas Smith.
