Notes:
[1]Elected.
[2]"The Hon. Lemuel Williams, a staunch Republican Federalist, is chosen in this district by a majority of nearly two hundred ... The Chronicle, of Monday, says 'in Barnstable and Kennebec districts, it remains doubtful whether the Republican members are elected.' On this subject we happen to have no doubts.--We know, from authority, that LEMUEL WILLIAMS, the real republican member of Barnstable district, is elected by a majority of more than one hundred and fifty votes." Columbian Centinel. Massachusetts Federalist (Boston, MA). November 10, 1802.
[3]There were no votes recorded in Provincetown.
[4]"Provincetown only remains to be heard from, and we understand it gave a unanimous vote for Lemuel Williams, Esq. who is re-chosen." Columbian Courier (New Bedford, MA). November 14, 1802.
