Notes:
[1]In Gloucester County, due to a schism in the Republican Party, the three incumbent members were not re-nominated as candidates for the Assembly and a new Republican ticket was formed. However, the three incumbents were supported by a group of dissent Republicans and also by some Federalists. They drew enough votes from both parties to cause a mixed delegation to be elected from Gloucester County.
[2]The Original Election Returns and The True American October 21, 1820 list 506 votes for William Watson, but the township totals add up to 508.
