[7]"Captain Jacob Grosh, a Federalist, who had been one of our Representatives in the last Legislature, was also rejected by the Delegates of his Party. He, like Capt. Hambright, had marched a large Volunteer Corps from Marietta, for the defence of Philadelphia; and, like him, was supported by some of both Parties, who gave him 1544 Votes, as a Candidate for the House of Representatives."
