[4]The Erie Gazette (Erie, PA) reports 1237 votes for Robert L. Potter, 1208 votes for Walter Oliver, 730 votes for Andrew Bowman, 560 votes for Arthur Chenowith, 505 votes for Thomas King, 697 votes for William Moore, 507 votes for Robert Mitchell, 422 votes for Robert C. Hatton, and 96 votes for Cunningham S. Sample. "We have not received the official returns from all the counties composing this district, but the following list was handed to us by a gentleman from Meadville, which we think may be relyed upon as being correct." October 20, 1821.
[5]The Erie Gazette (Erie, PA) reported incomplete returns from Crawford County, including only eleven voting districts. Those incomplete returns were listed as follows: 630 votes for David Brown, 681 votes for James Cochran, 215 votes for George Moore, 443 votes for Wilson Smith, 478 votes for Robert L. Potter, and 19 votes for Robert C. Hatton. October 13, 1821.
[6]The township votes listed here add up to 34 votes for Robert Mitchell, though the offical returns report 30 votes for Mitchell.
