However, the individual township results reported in the same issue actually add up to 369 total votes for John Sloane. October 17, 1820. The Herald is the only source which provides township totals and is the only available source from Cuyahoga County.
[4]While the total votes for John Sloane in Stark County were reported as 1271, the sum of the individual township returns is only 1261.
