[7]"On Wednesday last our town meeting was held for the choice of Representatives. The Chairman of the Selectmen sated, that the number of polls entitled the town to send ten; a motion however was made and adopted for six, and the poll was opened for one hour; at the close of which it was found the whole number of votes given in was 247 - necessary for a choice, 124."
