Notes:

[1]Elected.
[2]"County-Treasurer.--In consequence of arrangements at the late Grand County Caucus, the Jacobins of this town, carrying everything at the March meeting by dint of superior numbers, insisted upon the votes for this officer being given in at the same time with those for Selectmen; thus, contrary to all former usage, confounding the business of the town and the county, and bringing together objects, which the articles in the warrant had placed as usual at a distance; and thereby procuring a majority for their candidate.--In the other towns, the Jacobins were under obligation to watch the most favourable opportunity for action; but we trust they will not be able to discard a man who has served the County so long and so faithfully as Mr. CHOATE has done."
