[9]After the election, Hamilton was divided into three counties, with the northwest portion becoming Butler County and the northeast portion becoming Warren County. The Western Spy, and Hamilton Gazette (Cincinnati, OH) of September 26, 1804 re-calculated the results of the 1803 election with the 1804 boundaries of Hamilton County and calculated the following results: Ephraim Kibby (573 votes), Abner Gerrard (555 votes), Ezekeiel Ball (341 votes), Stephen Wood (333 votes), James Snowden (317 votes), James Thompson (309 votes), John Sterrett (308 votes), William Dodds (230 votes), William Ludlow (220 votes), Samuel Dick (218 votes), William MacClure (190 votes), Ichabod B. Miller (184 votes), John Wallace (178 votes) and Abraham Reed (154 votes).
