Kilborn Whitman Esq. has 2193 votes and is the other of the two persons having the highest number of votes and not elected and will be the other Candidate unless 479 votes which appear to have been given to Charles Turner, Jun. shall be added to the votes given for the Hon. Charles Turner, who in that case will be found to have had 2287 votes and he will be the other candidate ... The foregoing reports were read and accepted and thereupon Ordered, that the votes given for Charles Turner be added to the votes of the Hon.
