[2]"Extract of a letter from Caroline County, to the Editor, dated 6th April 1813. "It is difficult to say for whom a poll will be taken at our Congressional election next week in opposition to Mr. Roane. Great solicitude is expressed for a change; but no suitable person can be found willing at this late period to have his name announced as a candidate. many however of both parties will vote against Mr. Roane by way of showing their disapprobation of the war.""
