[2]"Agreeable to the order of the day the two houses convened in the representative's chamber for the purpose of electing a public printer, William Moore and George Wilson were in nomination ~ on counting the ballots it appeared that William Moore had 22, and George Wilson had 17 votes. Whereupon the Speaker of the Senate, in presence of both houses, pronounced William Moore to be duly and constitutionally elected public printer." Staunton Eagle (Staunton, VA). September 20, 1807.
