[1]Elected.
[2]"In this County, there was no opposition to the Democratic ticket, on Tuesday last, with the exception of a few 'indiscreet politicians' (as Duane would call them) who prevailed on James Saxton, a few days previous to the day of Election, to run for the office of Commissioner. The circumstances of Mr. S's running, however, not being well known in the County, very few of the Federalists attended the Election." The Huntingdon Gazette (Huntingdon, PA). October 11, 1810.
