The election of a Treasurer for the Eastern Shore, this day occupied the attention of the House: little time was required to ascertain that they had the right to remove the present one. They therefore proceeded to the ballot; a majority of the whole was requisite to constitute a choice. Mr. Chambers had 35 votes - Mr. Ginson 33. A new ballot is about taking place." American.
