[1]The Town Election Certificate lists Charles Johnston with 3 votes for Commissioner for 3 years, and 1 vote for 2 years. Although this also happened for William Berry (18 votes for 3 years and 3 votes for 2 years), all 21 of his votes were listed simply as being for County Commissioner. Because there is no breakdown by years for this office in any other towns nor in the County Summary Sheet, here, Charles Johnston has been attributed with the 3 additional votes he received for the 3 year term.
