Notes:
[1]In Monmouth County, the election certificate from the town of Stafford incorrectly reported the votes for Thomas Cox as being cast for James Cox. This error, technically allowed the election of William G. Reynolds, one of the Federalist candidates. However, the election was contested and Thomas Cox was awarded the seat.
