The Providence Phoenix (Providence, RI). May 26, 1804.
[4]The New-England Palladium (Boston, MA) reports Moses Carleton as the winner with 64 votes, with the following note: "The Wiscasset Repository, says, Mr. Moses Carlton, jun. had 50 votes, Mr. Moses Carlton 14, Mr. John Merrill, jun. 39, John Merrill 22."
