[1]"The house proceeded to the consideration of the report of the committee of P. and E. on the contested election of Messrs. Blake Woodson and Jerman Baker (Cumberland) and after much discussion, came to the following resolution: Resolved, therefore, as the opinion of this committee, that the poll ought to stand thus: For Blake B. Woodson 153, For Jerman Baker 153. The resolution so amended was agreed to by the house." The Enquirer (Richmond, VA). December 24, 1807.
