Notes:

[1]Elected.
[2]In some counties in Pennsylvania where the Republicans were dominant they became prone to state and regional infighting. The Pennsylvania Republican (Harrisburg, PA)s went through a series of schisms and one of the players in this split was Michael Leib. Thus the description of "a kind of a Leib ticket to divide the Republicans" exists in several 1813 elections.
[3]The Democratic Press (Philadelphia, PA) from October 14 explains that one of the two commissioner seats up for election in 1813 was "in the room of Jacob Fitler, resigned."
[4]Cornelius Trimmel is listed as Christian Trimnull in several sources.
[5]"In the County of Philadelphia also the triumph of Democracy is complete.-The election has terminated exactly "as we predicted," in spite of all the efforts of Faction and Federalism. The Democratic candidates regularly agreed upon in the City and County of Philadelphia and in the district, have been elected. Neither the Federalists nor Leibites have carried a single Candidate. We trust they never will." The Democratic Press (Philadelphia, PA). October 13, 1813.
[6]Poulson's American Daily Advertiser (Philadelphia, PA) from October 16 lists Cornelius Trimmel with 773 votes. However, this source do not include 22 votes from the district of Blockley and Kingsessing which are reported in The Democratic Press (Philadelphia, PA) from Ocotber 16, and make the correct total for Trimmel 795 votes.
[7]Excluded votes from the Southwark district in Philadelphia county have been included in Jacob Duey's total here, and therefore do not match the published total in the sources for this election.
[8]Relf's Philadelphia Gazette. And Daily Advertiser (Philadelphia, PA) from October 18, 1813 explains that "In Southwark, etc. 583 votes returned for Adam Duey." The return judges for Southwark, etc. simply listed Duey's first name incorrectly, however despite these votes being intended for Jacob Duey, by law they were credited to Adam Duey. Nevertheless, the 583 votes are included here and explain the differences in the actual and reported vote totals for Philadelphia county and the overall election district.
