[8]Several sources report 3873 votes for John Conrad, 3846 votes for Jacob Holgate, 3745 votes for James S. Huber, 2936 votes for Joel B. Sutherland, 2509 votes for John Johnson, 2253 votes for Tracy Taylor, 2201 votes for Robert Carr, and 2141 votes for Lyndford Lardner, including the October 15th edition of The Union. United States Gazette and True American (Philadelphia, PA), the Franklin Gazette (Philadelphia, PA) of October 16, the Lancaster Intelligencer (Lancaster, PA), and the Correspondent and Farmers' Advertiser (Doylestown, PA). However, none of these sources include township totals and the sums for total votes based on the township totals differ from what these several sources list for total votes.
[9]Several sources report 2038 votes for Joseph Parker, including the October 10th edition of The Union. United States Gazette and True American (Philadelphia, PA), The Democratic Press (Philadelphia, PA), the Pennsylvania Intelligencer (Harrisburg, PA) and the October 23rd edition of The Bellefonte Patriot (Bellefonte, PA). The Union and the Democratic Press also include township totals, which add up to 2068 total votes for Parker, even though they list the total votes for him at 2038.
[10]Several sources report 2202 votes for Caleb Carr, including the October 10th edition of The Union. United States Gazette and True American (Philadelphia, PA), The Democratic Press (Philadelphia, PA), the Pennsylvania Intelligencer (Harrisburg, PA) and the October 23rd edition of The Bellefonte Patriot (Bellefonte, PA). However the sum of the township totals listed is 2203 total votes.
[11]The Franklin Gazette (Philadelphia, PA) of October 16 lists Joseph Parker with 2063 total votes.
[12]The Union. United States Gazette and True American (Philadelphia, PA) of October 10, 1822 lists John Johnson with 186 votes, but lists the same total votes for him as does the other source which lists township totals.
[13]The Democratic Press of October 10, 1822 lists George N. Baker with 1359 votes (which is the number of votes for Jacob Holgate) but the sum of total votes it lists for him does not reflect that variation, it lists the same total votes listed in the other source which includes township totals.
[14]The Union. United States Gazette and True American (Philadelphia, PA) of October 10, 1822 lists George N. Baker with 414 votes and Nathan Jones with 406 votes, but it lists the same total votes as does the other source which lists township totals.
