[1]"The bill for a Senator to serve in the Congress of the U. States, six years, from the 4th of March next, came from the Senate indefinitely postponed. The house concurred in the vote of the Senate." Connecticut Mirror (Hartford, CT). June 14, 1824.
[2]With six votes against Calvin Willey, the State Senate refused to concur on the election and the vote was forced back to the House of Representatives for another ballot.
