[4]The Intelligencer, and Weekly Advertiser (Lancaster, PA) from October 26 lists Thomas Pollack as a Constitutionalist and Henry Rugh as a Republican.
[5]Returns published in most sources omit 44 votes for George Plummer in Washington township and report Plummer with 957 total votes. Amended totals are included here.
[6]"David Jennings in Rostraver district had 141 votes for the assembly--In the other districts of the county 45--In all 186 votes." The Westmoreland and Indiana Register (Greensburg, PA). October 10, 1811.
[7]"We have been requested by the return judge of Washington district to state for the satisfaction of Mr. Plummer and his friends that he had 44 votes in said district as will appear by the tally papers. The clerks in transcribing the names of the respective candidates omitted that of Mr. Plummer, and the judges of said district signed the return and sent it on without discovering the error. It was not discovered until the return judges met in the Court-house, it was then too late. The general return was made out and the 44 votes omitted as published in our last paper." The Westmoreland and Indiana Register (Greensburg, PA). October 18, 1811. Sources published prior to this correction report Plummer with 0 votes in Washington County.
