The Pennsylvania Republican (Harrisburg, PA)s went through a series of schisms and one of the players in this split was Michael Leib. Thus the description of "a kind of a Leib ticket to divide the Republicans" exists in several 1813 elections. The October 15 the edition of the Political and Commercial Register and The Democratic Press from October 16 list William Binder as a Leibite.
