[5]There were two men with the last name of Scott who were candidates for Assembly from 1811 - 1813. In 1811 both Samuel and James Scott were elected. In 1812 only James Scott was a candidate and in 1813 it was only Samuel Scott.
[6]The Mercury (Pittsburgh, PA) from October 17 lists Joseph Reed with 942 votes, but lists the vote total in the district as 1356 votes. The accurate total reveals 942 to be a misprint of 924 votes for Reed in Allegheny County.
